Candy Hero is an innovative sweets, snacks and drinks importer and distributor with entrepreneurial flair that is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to work in the exciting role of Customer Support Agent.

The successful individual will build upon their existing customer service and support skills in this fun and challenging role within a fast-paced environment.

The core responsibilities will involve constantly delivering our own brand of "superhero" customer service and support by phone, live chat, and email, with a strong emphasis on relationship building, generating future sales, and basic account management duties for our B2B clients. Administative support to other areas of the business could also be needed, where core business skills can be developed and future opportunities can be opened.

This is not your average customer service role – We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual with enthusiasm to learn and develop, attention to detail, organised and efficient with hands-on practical skills, excellent communication, sociable and friendly, precise mathematically, excellent literacy and communication both verbal and written, great people skills, and a superhero can-do attitude.

Our warehouse and head office is located in BD5, Bradford, near the start of the M606 motorway with excellent transport links. Remote working is also possible for this role.

Description of Duties

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Dealing with a variety of customer enquiries.
  • Build a rapport with customers, identify their needs and convert sales.
  • Using email, telephone, and live chat to render customer service and support.
  • Providing an efficient first point of contact for the company which is friendly, fun, and gets results.
  • Occasionally dealing with customers face-to-face.
  • Routing enquiries, passing them onto the relevant department or contacts based on established parameters.
  • Giving detailed and succinct information to customers, helping them solve problems while selling great products.
  • Providing varied administrative support to relevant departments and personnel.
  • Basic level account management, which can open future opportunities for progression.
  • Getting involved in the changing needs and endeavours of a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and growing business, where good ideas, solutions, and systems can be presented, approved, and applied to the business.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday in 8-hour blocks.
  • Exact start and finish time is negotiable.
