Are you looking for a full time warehouse management job with exciting future career opportunities? Look no further! We are looking for enthusiastic warehouse employees for Candy Hero in Nijmegen. You will get a chance to work at a successful wholesale confectionery and snack distributor. Together with your team of colleagues you will assist the warehouse manager in operating an efficient and accurate goods in, storage, and fulfilment environment, serving our customers in the Netherlands, Europe and throughout the world.

As a warehouse assistant manager your activities will mainly be:

• Ensure loading and processing of incoming and outgoing orders meet targets.
• Manage and build a strong and motivated team, encouraging their development and involvement in the success of the business.
• Manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing and responding to changing demands.
• Ensure we maximise stock turn and sales by dealing with returns and stock control discrepancies efficiently.
• Oversee adherence to all policy and procedure including health and safety.
• Contribute to production and improvement of training materials and best practices.
• Report on a daily basis to Warehouse Manager, Office Manager, and Directors.

You will be supervised by a Warehouse Manager. Together with your team, you will help make Candy Hero a continued success.

Where are you going to work?

You will work in the European hub of a large worldwide wholesale confectionery and snack distributor based in the UK. The warehouse where you will work is located in Nijmegen.

Who are you?

• Able to speak and understand fluent English.
• Previous management experience, ideally in a warehouse.
• Take pride in your work, you are accurate, diligent and punctual.
• A real go-getter and you enjoy physical work.
• Enthusiastic about warehousing and distribution.
• Good levels of IT competence.
• Able to work Monday to Friday in 10-hour blocks, between 07:00-18:00, usually just 4 shifts per week.

• Salary: €25.000 - €28.000 dependant on experience
