Kool-Aid Tips & Ideas

Since 1927 Kool-Aid has been quenching thirst in almost 100 flavours. At any given time there can be 20-30 flavours available on the market. You can browse our selection of Kool-Aid here.

Standard Kool-Aid comes in a lightweight ≈5g sachet. But don't be fooled by appearances, that powder is pure flavour! Follow the instructions below (or on the packets) to create a refreshing Kool-Aid drink.

Directions

Kool-Aid directions

Note: These directions are for the unsweetened sachets of Kool-Aid. The tubs already contain sugar and have separate directions on the tub.

Step 1: Empty Kool-Aid sachet into 2 litre plastic or glass jug/pitcher.

Step 2: Add 200g of sugar or sweetener of your choice.

Step 3: Now fill it up with 1.9 litres of cold water - optionally add some ice too.

Step 4: Enjoy!

Super Sour Kool Kubes

Step 1: Mix 2 sachets of Kool-Aid, 60g sugar and 175ml of water until dissolved.

Step 2: Pour into plastic ice cube trays.

Step 3: Put it in the freezer until frozen.

Step 4: Add these ice cubes to your Kool-Aid for a taste explosion!

Kool-Aid Ice Lollies

You'll need some ice lolly moulds for this one. A great way to stay cool in the summer months!

Ingredients

85g jelly (any flavour)
1 sachet Kool-Aid (any flavour)
200g sugar
475ml hot water
475ml cold water

Directions

Mix all ingredients together until dissolved, then pour into lolly moulds. Freeze until frozen!

"Who spiked the Kool-Aid?"

This one's not for children!

Use Kool-Aid as a mixer for alcoholic drinks, or as a base for a punch - simply add less water, replacing it instead with your liquor of choice.

What Else?

Kool-Aid has been used to make flavoured ice cream, candy, frosting, play dough, deep fried Kool-Aid donut balls - even dyeing wool (seriously)! Look up some recipes online or experiment with it yourself!

Have fun!
